This is the story of Chris; a 19 year old Christian Arab from Jaffa who is conflicted between his strong
sense of Palestinian identity and the pragmatic need for him to mature in a nationalist state struggling
for its existence.
SYNOPSIS
Chris is a 19 years old Christian Arab from Jaffa who is still living with his mother, unable to find his own place in the world after graduating from a Jewish high school.
Chris feels trapped! On the one hand he identifies with the Palestinian people and Arabic society, and on the other his friends, most of whom are Jews, are trying to convince him to enlist to the IDF (“Israeli Defense Force”), claiming that military service might help him secure his future as well as turn him into a man.
Chris constantly fights with his mother, while his father is an old school patriarch who is monitoring Chris’s every move. After his grandmother dies, Chris’s starts sliding down hill. Fast. The anger within him increases to catastrophic levels, and he feels that the world is closing in on him. Chris cannot contain all that rage and frustration and he is bound to explode in a strong wave of unimaginable violence.
